About Divergent Therapy and Coaching
We started with a simple belief: that neurodivergent people deserve support that actually gets them. Not support that tries to fit them into a mold. Not a waiting list that stretches six months into the future. Not a provider who treats a diagnosis as a destination rather than a starting point. Real support, thoughtful, affirming, and built around the person you are. With lived experiences, advanced degrees, certifications licensing and experience working with this community, we are proud of the work we do and the communities we serve.
That belief is the foundation of Divergent Therapy and Coaching.

Who We Are
We are a virtual telehealth practice specializing in ADHD, Autism, and neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan, kids, teens, and adults. Our team, The Neurodivengers, includes Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Registered Dieticians, certified coaches, each one licensed, certified, and registered in their area of expertise, and genuinely passionate about this work.
Most of us are neurodivergent ourselves, or have neurodivergent family members. All of us have chosen, deliberately, to work in this space because we know what it looks like when someone finally finds support that understands them. And we want more people to have that experience.

Who We Serve
We work with kids, teens, and adults. We work with families trying to figure out how to support a child who learns and experiences the world differently. We work with adults who spent decades wondering why things felt harder for them than for everyone else, and who are finally ready for answers and support.
We serve people with a diagnosis, as well as those who don’t. We serve people who aren’t sure, they just know that something isn’t working and they need help. You don’t need a diagnosis to walk through our door. You just need to show up.
What We Believe
Neurodivergence is not a deficit. ADHD, Autism, and related profiles are different ways of experiencing and interacting with the world, not broken versions of a neurotypical standard. Our care is built on that foundation.
Diagnosis is a tool, not a requirement. For some people, having a name for their experience is life-changing. For others, what matters most is just getting the right support. We offer both, a comprehensive assessment that include a formal diagnosis and a personalized care pathway, and services that are fully open to anyone who needs them, diagnosed or not.
Support should meet you where you are. That’s why all of our appointments are virtual, so you can access care from wherever you are, on your schedule, without a commute or a waiting room. We’re actively expanding our licensed therapist team across all 50 states, and our coaches are available nationwide right now.
Access matters. We offer bundles, memberships, sliding scale, 90–120 day interest-free payment plans because the cost of care shouldn’t be the reason someone doesn’t get it.
Our Story
Divergent Therapy and Coaching was founded by Roni Kean, who has spent her career at the intersection of two things: running Healthcare as well as Corporate Organizations making sure the people inside them feel genuinely seen, accommodated and supported.
With over 25 years of leadership, three years managing a growing mental health practice, and a Master’s in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Roni brings something unique to the table: the expertise to build a practice that actually works, and the personal commitment to make sure it serves the people who need it most. She is a Registered Health and Wellness Coach and a Certified Neurodiversity Coach who has lived and worked in this space long enough to know that the right support at the right time genuinely changes lives. Roni is also neurodivergent.
Divergent Support Services, Roni’s consulting practice, launched in early 2025. The Divergent Decks conversation card sets followed in summer 2025, designed to spark meaningful conversations between neurodivergent individuals and the people who love and support them. Divergent Therapy and Coaching is the next chapter: a full clinical and coaching practice built to deliver on everything Roni believes about what neurodivergent care should look like, with accessibility NOW for those who need it. No more searching, no more waitlists.
A Note on Inclusion
Divergent Therapy and Coaching is an affirming practice. Full stop.
We welcome clients of all races, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, relationship structures, religions, and abilities. We understand that being neurodivergent often intersects with other identities and that those intersections shape a person’s experience in ways that matter clinically and personally.
We also understand that many neurodivergent people have had painful experiences with systems and providers that weren’t built for them. We take that seriously. Our goal is to be a place where you feel safe to show up as exactly who you are.
